No Time To Lose
Accessibility Statement:
At No Time to Lose, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be the hero of their own story. Whether you are cracking codes in an escape room, embarking on a quest in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or crafting your next tabletop masterpiece, we are committed to making our experiences as inclusive and accessible as possible.
Our Commitment
We recognize that "accessibility" looks different for everyone. We strive to provide an environment that accommodates guests with diverse physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
1. Escape Rooms
-
Physical Navigation: Most of our rooms are designed with wide clearances; however, some puzzles may involve reaching or low-light conditions. Please contact us in advance if you use a mobility aid so we can recommend the best experience for you.
-
Light & Sound: Some rooms may use flashing lights or sudden sound effects. We can often adjust these settings or provide "sensory guides" upon request before your game begins.
-
Emergency Exits: Every room is equipped with an immediate exit button or remains unlocked at all times per local safety regulations.
2. D&D & Tabletop Gaming
-
Inclusive Tables: Our Dungeon Masters are trained to use "Safety Tools" (such as X-Cards or Lines and Veils) to ensure the narrative remains comfortable for all players.
-
Visual Aids: We offer high-contrast character sheets and large-print materials upon request for our tabletop sessions.
-
Seating: We provide ergonomic seating options for long-form gaming sessions to ensure physical comfort.
3. Game Crafting Workshops
-
Assisted Crafting: Our instructors are available to provide one-on-one assistance with fine motor tasks, such as painting miniatures or assembling terrain.
-
Tool Adaptations: We strive to provide easy-grip tools and adjustable lighting at our crafting stations.
